My fascination with dollheads as art objects and as the starting points for more involved art works began about 5 years ago.

Among our first toys as children, dolls are representations of innocence, and universal symbols of youth. Ironically as dolls age, wear and become disassociated from their original context as playthings, they take on the opposite connotation reminding us of our own mortality.
